Many bloggers underestimate the power of the *ALT* ,in this blog post am going to share with you the importance of putting an *ALT* tag on all your blog images.

What is an ALT tag

An ALT tag provides an  alternative text to an image. ALT tags help to describe whats on the image you published on your blog. Think of search engines are blind users,search engines don't try to much what a user has search to see if it looks like what the image on your blog looks like.Search engines cant see whats on the image and so they rely on the ALT tag   to explain  what an image is displaying.

If your blog content is not bringing you any traffic then maybe your images might change that,make sure that you add the ALT to your blog images at all times.

HOW TO ADD ALT TAGS WITH BLOGGER

In bloggers text editor click on the image.and it will give you a lot of options from image size to position of the image.click on the option that says properties .

 When done click ok and you done.

 WARNING:DON'T TRY TO FILL THE ALT TAG WITH KEYWORDS BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT BE FOLLOWING THE GUIDELINES.

Click on add media on your top left,select your image then add the ALT were the arrow is showing below
